ISO cylinders give you the freedom to use internationally compatible mountings and accessories. We updated our FAQ2R Series ISO 6431 air cylinder with a new extruded body to better house flush-mounted sensors while also giving it a clean shape. The single- and double-rod units are built tough with a hard-anodized aluminum cylinder inner and outer diameter plus painted end caps. Each unit comes with an aluminum alloy magnetic piston, adjustable air cushions at both ends and a machined male rod thread with jam nut. Optional Reed and electronic sensors mount securely to an extrusion slot anywhere along the length of the cylinder. The cylinders come in bore diameters from 32 to 125 millimeters, and standard strokes range from 25 to 1,000 millimeters for all bore sizes.
FAE Series single and double rod cylinders are built to ISO 6432 dimensions. The family is available with bore diameters of 12 to 40 millimeters, and maximum strokes are as high as 1,000 millimeters for single rod and 500 millimeters for double rod units. Designed for long life, cylinders with bore diameters up to 25 millimeters are made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, and larger-bore units offer anodized aluminum construction. Each cylinder comes standard with an aluminum alloy magnetic piston, mounting nut and machined male rod thread with jam nut.
The EZP Series of pick and place pneumatic linear slides are built tough to keep your pick and place equipment running reliably without sacrificing accuracy. Delivering combined horizontal and vertical motion, the EZP Series’ integrated and sealed linear ball bearings provide near play-free operation to ensure good precision. The pairs of bearings are housed in the high-strength aluminum end caps, and the space between them increases with the stroke lengths to provide them higher load capacities. The slides’ rugged design includes a hard-coated aluminum cylinder tube, hard chrome-plated 303 stainless steel piston rod and a choice of case hardened and ground or stainless steel guide shaft. Some models also offer three positions on one or both of the slides.
Fabco-Air stoppers are ideal cylinders for conveyors and other machines that need to decelerate a load before impact.
ST Series Stoppers
Available in bore sizes from 32 to 50 millimeters, the ST Series comes in a variety of styles to address different requirements: round rod, non-rotating rod, rollers that adjust direction according to application needs, and four lever types. The stoppers feature a magnetic piston as standard, Buna-N bumpers at both ends to ensure a gentle stop and rugged aluminum extrusion construction. Options include shock absorbers for safety stops and magnetic sensors that mount easily to the cylinder when input signals are required for controllers. The stoppers operate at 145 psi (maximum) compressed air over a wide operating temperature.
Global Series™ Stopper Cylinder
Designed for conveyor applications requiring resistance to side impact loads in a 32 millimeter bore size, the Global Series Stopper Cylinder features heavy-duty mounting, an oversized hard chrome-plated 303 piston rod and special bronze rod bearing with increased surface area.
These air presses combine the Multi-Power force-multiplying principle with a precision framework to deliver extraordinary thrust forces, power factor and accuracy for both production and laboratory uses. Each unit comes with a Multi-Power cylinder that uses multiple pistons attached to a single shaft. This creates a larger collective surface area for air pressure to act on as the pistons are energized simultaneously via special internal air passages, multiplying the extend thrust. The cylinder and framework result in bench presses that can achieve power factors from 19.6 to 93 times line pressure and deliver tool-saving, low-impact forces from 2,900 pounds to over 5 tons.
The power cylinder has all the standard Multi-Power features such as a hard-anodized aluminum body, hard chrome-plated stainless steel piston rods to ensure reliable operation, a long-length high performance compositehi rod bearing for accuracy and reliability, and pre-lubrication with Magnalube-G® grease for long life. The sturdy framework includes high-strength aluminum frame plates with precision-located keyways and plated steel keys for accurate alignment and rigidity.

When your system requires hydraulic-type motion control, Air-Oil Tanks provide high precision, smooth speed and excellent rigidity when used with off-the shelf air valves and shop air. Air-Oil Tanks don’t require motors, pumps, relief valves and other components, so they’re cost effective and save space. Fabco-Air offers two types of Air-Oil Tanks: Single-tank units for when hydraulic control of the cylinder is required in one direction, and double-tank units when bi-directional cylinder control is needed. Single-tank units can also be used as storage tanks in booster systems or for hydraulic shock control. Double-tank units are particularly space-efficient thanks to the one-piece head that holds both tanks in place and also simplifies mounting.
Both Air-Oil units feature large flow ports, and top and bottom baffles help prevent fluid aeration. They also have a translucent tube, so users can observe fluid levels and other conditions. Rugged construction features include black anodized heads, brass baffle plates, high-strength tie rods and Buna-N tube seals custom-molded for a leak-free assembly. Air-Oil Tanks are available with bore sizes of 1 ¼, 2 and 4 inches to suit all applications, with tank lengths furnished to your requirements.
When your air-powered machine requires the rigidity and smooth control of hydraulics, Multi-Power Boosters are an optimal choice. These convenient, compact and low-cost units use shop air to raise the pressure of another gas or liquid in a variety of applications. When relatively small volumes of high-pressure fluid are needed intermittently, boosters excel versus continuously running hydraulic systems. They’re also ideal when high pressure must be maintained for prolonged times. After the booster strokes, there is no further energy input required and no heat buildup.
Boosters operate with up to 150 psi shop air or other compatible gas, and the output can be oil, liquid, air or gas. Using multiple pistons to compress the media in the output end, the booster raises the output pressure to 500 psi max. With the right combination of bore size, stroke, power factor and regulating input air pressure, you can achieve and maintain precise output pressure and volume.
Multi-Power Boosters are available in two versions:
Series BA. This series is suitable for systems in which the input to the boosters will be gravity-fed fluid or atmospheric pressure gas. The booster requires a four-way valve for operation.
Series BP. This series can be used on systems in which the input to the booster will be pressurized fluid or gas. The unit requires a three-way air valve for operation.
Series HHD hydraulic actuators are suitable for applications requiring extra output power and durability to stand up to harsh conditions. They provide up to 3,000 psi of continuous force, making them ideal in high-pressure systems. And they’re also built to last. The cylinder barrel’s heavy wall is honed to an 8 to 16 µ finish to ensure piston bearing life, while the extra long rod cartridge is made of high-strength bronze to deliver exceptional bearing support and wear resistance. The cast iron pistons are designed to provide maximum strength and protection against shock loads, and the piston rods offer 100,000 psi yield strength in the ⅝ through 4 ½ inch diameters and up to 75,000 psi for larger-diameter models. The steel tie rods feature 100,000 to 125,000 psi yield strength.
Additional features include machined cushions to ensure gradual deceleration and reduced shock at the end of the stroke, Teflon® end seals, standard SAE ports and a circular rod bushing retainer so the rod cartridge can be removed without disassembling the cylinder. HHD hydraulic actuators are offered with 20 NFPA standard mounting options for interchange convenience.
FGM Series guided motion cylinders offer an extended power range and effective load carrying capability. These compact units feature a twin guide shaft design to ensure precise, non-rotating positioning. Customers can choose between the FGMM for ball bearings, and the FGML sintered bronze sleeve bearing. Both cylinders come in a variety of bore sizes, and the FGMM model offers two additional bore diameters to suit smaller-scale applications. Adjustable extended stroke versions are also available.
The Global Series™ is Fabco-Air’s extruded-body international counterpart to the Original Pancake® air cylinder. This metric, interchangeable air cylinder line, like the Pancake, is designed to deliver short-strokes and fit into tight spaces. Pressure rated to 150 psi for both pneumatic and hydraulic service, the Global Series comes with bore sizes ranging from 12 to 100 millimeters, and stroke lengths are from 5 to 150 millimeters.
These compact air cylinders are designed for durability. We machine the cylinder body from high-quality solid bar aluminum stock. The anodized extrusions house oversized hard chrome 303 stainless steel piston rods that help extend the cylinder’s lifetime, and the rod-bushing’s non-metallic high-performance composite gives it high load-bearing strength. Each Global Series air cylinder comes pre-lubed with Magnalube G® — a Teflon™-impregnated grease that resists corrosive moisture, water and oil separation. GT Series Cylinders
These double-acting cylinders offer the same features as standard Global Series filters plus an anodized aluminum toolplate in blank, metric or inch styles plus chrome-plated stainless steel guide shafts. The cylinders come in 10 bore sizes from 12 through 100 millimeters and with strokes from 5 through 150 millimeters.
